A former Imperialist assassin, Kenshin grieves for the lives he has taken. He vowed to never kill again, and traded in his katana and wakizashi for a reverse-bladed sword. Also known as sakabatō, the reverse blade sword was given to Kenshin by a master swordsmith named Shakku.
